ICON VEHICLE DYNAMICS ANDREA PATHIAKIS TO CONTINUE SUCCESS IN LORORS SECOND ROUND

ICON VEHICLE DYNAMICS ANDREA PATHIAKIS TO CONTINUE SUCCESS IN LORORS SECOND ROUND March 5, 2012- The 2012 Lucas Oil Regional Off-Road Series season opener came and went as driver Andrea Pathiakis finished the February 18th race with a 1st place trophy in hand. This weekend, March 10th, marks the next stop on the 2nd year of the six round Southern California regional series. The ICON Vehicle Dynamics, SDHQ, DMZ sponsored female hopes to gain more points in the series and keep on top of the Mini Stock class. Pathiakis finished the inaugural LORORS season as the 2011 Mini Stock reigning champion. However for 2012, she commented that this was a brand new year and was focused on being fast and consistent; she couldn’t simply focus on being the champ. The series came off of a three month off-season where it was rumored that many other Mini Stock drivers were entering the class. The Saturday race morning confirmed those rumors as seven fellow Mini Stock trucks showed up to race against Pathiakis. “I was stoked to see more Mini Stocks, the class keeps growing and getting more hype. My true responsibility is to be an ambassador to this class so I can’t be anything but excited to see more drivers” Pathiakis said before entering into the class practice. The ICON Vehicle Dynamics pit included familiar faces from last year including Tim Duncan of DMZ Fab & Race Prep who has been a key member of the team, along with continuing crew chief Sean Kepler of APRacing and ICON. During the Mini Stock practice, the #11 driver posted the fastest lap among the seven drivers and showed the same consistency as 2011’s winning championship. Driving like a seasoned veteran, Pathiakis also lead the qualifying session for four laps until the truck rattled out an exhaust leak. Thankfully a quick turn of Tim Duncan’s wrench and the quick thinking of crew member Kevin Dardicci, the Mini Stock was prepped and ready for the main event. With the small problem in the qualifying laps, Andrea Pathiakis was pushed back from her usual pole position to starting on the outside, at the 4th spot. However as the green flag waved, Pathiakis quickly outdrove the driver in third and fellow ICON Vehicle Dynamics teammate, Mike Jenkins to begin hunting down the former short course racer and also fellow ICON teammate Jake Capriotti. Pathiakis and Capriotti had a fierce battle for more than half the race, interchanging positions and rubbing doors until Capriotti suffered mechanical problems and Pathiakis was able to take the lead after the cautionary yellow flag lap. She held that position for the remaining laps and despite losing her entire exhaust system, was able to take the checkered flag and 1st place for the 2012 season LORORS opener. The ICON Vehicle Dynamics racing team was ecstatic with Pathiakis’ performance and will be continuing to support the female driver into the rest of the Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Series. With only minor changes and a new exhaust, the APR team and driver will be gearing up for the second round again at Glen Helen Raceway this weekend, March 10th. Fans will once again fill the stands to watch some of the best, grassroots short course racing action and for their opportunity to get a glimpse at the Mini Stock driver. Big news also hit the stands as LORORS announced that the series will wrap up the 2012 season by combining the Arizona, Southern California, and Utah divisions into an all for nothing shootout at the famous Las Vegas Motor Speedway which will be…televised. Driver Andrea Pathiakis has set her sights on racing against out of state drivers and hopefully entering as a top notch competitor; just as last year.

NEW FORD SVT RAPTOR ICON 3.0 PERFORMANCE SHOCK SYSTEM

ICON Vehicle Dynamics is known for its extensive research and development put into every product; the revolutionary outcome of this research is what sets ICON apart from the off-road industry standard. The Ford SVT Raptor was the first production truck, designed & built, to bridge the gap between a standard street “pickup truck” and an off-road pre-runner. ICON Vehicle Dynamics new 3.0 Performance Shock System for the SVT Raptor was rigorously tested both on- and off-road for several months to enhance the overall performance and ride quality. The engineers at ICON Vehicle Dynamics took a different approach to position sensitive performance in the front coil over shock system. Instead of bypassing a small internal piston at the cost of poor control, road holding, and cornering like a traditional internal position sensitive shock, our shock starts with a 3” main piston that has robust features such as digressive rebound and flutter stack compression. This combination produces outstanding control, great response, and unparalleled ride performance. To achieve even more control for extreme off-road use, an additional internal hydraulic system produces the extreme forces required during the last 40% of travel. These multiple stages of compression and rebound have been tuned independently to maximize overall performance of the SVT Raptor front suspension. For owners who wish to optimize the ride specific to his or her liking, the front coil-over shocks are equipped with an external, “Easy to Adjust” Compression Clicker, that is effective for the entire stroke of the shock. The Rear Shocks are a 3.0”, three tube External Bypass shock. These are far from the norm when compared to a traditional bypass shock you see on Trophy Trucks and other off-road race vehicles. Each bypass valve has a specific port design and individually equipped with a different spring rate to ensure proper performance at each zone of shock travel. These same bypass valves feature dampened valve stops for quiet and precise operation. The biggest difference in these shocks versus an industry standard bypass shock, are the “Easy-to-Adjust” knobs and the replaceable bypass tubes. The “Easy to Adjust” Clicker Knobs do not require any tools for adjustment, and can be adjusted in seconds from plush off-road performance to firm on road manners for extra control while driving the mountains or towing a trailer. A unique feature of this shock is the replaceable bypass tubes that can be swapped out during a standard rebuild if any damage were to occur, where a normal bypass shock body would need to be completely replaced, saving you hundreds of dollars. 3.0 Front Raptor Coil Over Shock Features: 3.0 OEM Replacement Remote Reservoir Compression Adjustable Front Coil Over Shocks Internal Hydraulic Bump Zone Designed for Maximum G-out Control in the Last 40% of Travel. 5 MINUTES WITH SEAN KEPLER OF ICON VEHICLE DYNAMICS

Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Racing Series Mini Stock Class The Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Racing Series has not only brought back grass roots racing to Southern California but also created a few brand new classes. The Mini Stock class allows racers to build and compete in small, production trucks that fans may have in their own driveway. The class races on mainly stock components but with 2.5 inch smooth body shocks, fuel cell, and some safety updates, the trucks can be converted to a fully race specific truck. The Mini Stock class has created a viral buzz throughout the off-road industry. Many trucks are already competing in the Southern California series with even more in the works. ICON Vehicle Dynamics Supports the 2012 Mini Stock Class With all of the success of last year’s Mini Stock season, title sponsor ICON Vehicle Dynamics has stepped up again to support the 2012 Mini Stock class. Located in Riverside, California, ICON has had a huge presence at the Southern California regional races. From various efforts including race support and sales information, in 2011 the ICON Ford Raptor was used as the Lucas Oil Regional Pace Vehicle; complete with ICON Vehicle Dynamics 3.0 coil over kit and rear three-tube bypass. Motorsports Manager Sean Kepler has run double duty endorsing the Mini Stock class to race fans who are not familiar with the affordability and excitement that comes from racing in the class, while also operating as the main crew chief for the #11 ICON Vehicle Dynamics Mini Stock which won the 2011 championship. In the “5 Minutes With” interview, Sean verbalizes his enthusiasm and anticipation for the upcoming 2012 Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Racing Series season. Interview with Sean Kepler SK: ICON makes aftermarket suspension lift kits for all major makes and models of off-road vehicles. We offer everything from 2.0 replacement shocks, 2.5” coil over kits, up to an 8-inch lift, four linked with coil overs and bypass’ for the front of the 2012 Ford Super Duty. Whether it’s a Ford, Toyota, Jeep, Chevy, Dodge, all of the off-road vehicles in the parking lot and pits or anyone who has a production style truck who wants to get more performance can make ICON Vehicle Dynamics their first choice. LORORS: How does that carry over into racing? SK: Through our shock development program we were able to take all of the stuff learned from years of OE applications and pre-runners and then apply that to the racing field. Since we make everything in house, we were able to make a variety of shocks quickly and cover all racing styles. LORORS: ICON has committed to being the 2012 Mini Stock class sponsor. What are your main goals for having the company participate with the Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Series? SK: ICON likes working with Lucas Oil and wants to see this type of grass roots racing grow. We know that for grass root racers, support is a key factor in their success. So ICON takes pride in offering contingency and special shock package pricing to help entice more racers to come race in the regional series. Our goal is to break into the racing market by having the regional series be our premiere area for proving our racing shock line. So far we have been leading the field in podiums in the Arizona and Southern California Mini Stock classes with multiple class wins and even a championship on our shocks. LORORS: What kind of opportunities for growth do you see coming from the class? SK: The Mini Stock class will help racers get accustomed to racing, prepping, and just being involved with racing in general. This will help them step up to the pro ranks or to faster, bigger vehicles down the road. LORORS: Who is ICON sponsoring in the 2012 season? What are your goals for that racer? SK: We are sponsoring Andrea Pathiakis racing and we are behind her every step of the 2012 season as she defends her championship. We are hoping she will be able to amass more wins and bring on name recognition not only for herself but for ICON Vehicle Dynamics as well. We were excited to win in the class that we were sponsoring and we were able to put together a team that was competitive enough to win. LORORS: Is there anything else you would like to add about the series? SK: I think Lucas Oil is going to propel the racing series into something similar to a larger racing series like NASCAR. With the regional grass roots racing, they will be able to mold and shape racers to help feed the larger Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series with competitive and seasoned drivers. ICON is very happy to be a part of the Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Series and has enjoyed bringing our employees and families to the regional events. All of the ICON employees love to come out to the races to watch their work being used to its full potential. ICON Vehicle Dynamics at 2012 Lucas Oil Regional Events The ICON Vehicle Dynamics team will be attending all of the 2012 Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Racing Series – Southern California events as the 2012 Mini Stock class sponsor. Sean Kepler and everyone with the ICON Vehicle Dynamics team are happy to answer any questions regarding their product or the Mini Stock class. Whether you are looking for some cool new suspension parts for your off-road vehicle or just stopping by, the ICON pit promises to be a popular spot to visit for fans and racers during race day. MINI STOCK DRIVER ANDREA PATHIAKIS STARTS UP 2012 LORORS SEASON

Riverside, Ca. February 13, 2012- The Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Racing Series has announced six races for the 2012 season and Mini Stock champion Andrea Pathiakis will be continuing her drive from last year, to make this season another unforgettable one. With the race season starting this Saturday, February 10th at Glen Helen Raceway, the series will continue through the year with two new venues added to the list; Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park and an end of the year championship shootout at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The ICON Vehicle Dynamics team is proud to continue sponsoring Pathiakis and will be attending the regional events alongside their sponsored driver for pit support and an overall great day of racing. The #11 Mini Stock had nothing short of an exciting 2011 season with three podiums including two 1st place trophies. During the last October race, Pathiakis was two points shy of being on the top of her class and although it was a small gap, the female driver knew that she needed to just drive her race and persevere for the podium. Pathiakis started in front and stayed in the front during the Mini Stock main. The #11 driver worked hard to make it past three Stock Modified trucks and even stayed up close to one of the fastest trucks in that class as the other Mini Stock field was far behind. The competition yellow flag came and went as Pathiakis quickly gained her lead again while the Mini Stock stayed in the back of the pack. A couple more fast and smooth laps, she then took the checkered flag ending the 2011 season with the overall points lead, taking home the 2011 LORORS Mini Stock Championship; as a rookie. This upcoming weekend’s premiere season race will be nothing short of action packed excitement that comes from short course racing. As the new 2012 season commences, Pathiakis is proud to announce the signing on of new and old sponsors including Lucas Oil, Off Road Vixens, Method Race Wheels, Nissan Motorsports, MOMO USA, SDHQ, and DMZ Fab & Race Prep. Tim Duncan of DMZ has been a crucial APRacing team member, providing thorough race preparation and oversight of the racing program along with valuable words of racing for the driver. Pathiakis has been busy in the off season as she is a full time college student and continues racing with ICON Vehicle Dynamics motorsports marketing manager, Sean Kepler in various desert races and travels with the ICON team. The off season has also included the presentation of the #11 Mini Stock at the Sand Sports Expo and Off Road Expo to promote the driver and Lucas Oil Regional series. The Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Series has dramatically grown from its premiere April 2011 race; including all of the attributes that the larger Lucas series has to offer. Pathiakis has become a key competitor in the grassroots racing series and already has plans to continue her success in the 2012 season. The ICON Vehicle Dynamics is proud to continue with the driver and is overly pleased with her presence and victories. The 2012 year will bring many opportunities for the 2011 Mini Stock Champion.

ICON SPONSORED ALEXANDER MOTORSPORTS GETS 3RD AT THE 2012 PARKER 425

Alexander Motorsports debuted their new look on February 4th, 2012 as one of the official KC HiLiTES race vehicles. Alexander Motorsports will be racing the 2012 Best in the Desert series with help from the following new partners: KC HiLiTES, ICON Vehicle Dynamics featuring the new ZETA bypass shock, Bill Shapley Racing Engines & Transmissions, FK Rod Ends, Torco Advanced Lubricants, K&N Filters, MSD Ignition, Mickey Thompson Tires, BTR Wheels, Getpipped.com, Patrick Sign’s, and Butch’s Speed Shop. Steve Alexander and Gavin Ferguson started the race second out of five in Class 5000. At the end of the first lap they were running in third position. The car was working phenomenal. The new ICON Vehicle Dynamics bypass shocks were holding strong and kept the ride smooth. The team suffered a 20 minute set back during the second lap due to a nut coming loose on the lower link pin. Once the crew from Las Vegas Dissemination identified and rectified the problem Steve and Gavin continued to chase the leaders. At the end of the second lap Steve Alexander was so impressed with the handling of the car he made the decision to stay in the car and drive the last lap. With the sun going down and the visibility down to zero they clipped a rock with the rear tire suffering their only flat for the entire race 20 miles from start/finish. Finally the sun went down and they were able to use their KC HIDs to light up the desert and bring it to the finish. Just under 10 hours and 425 miles later the brand new Bill Shapley racing engine with Torco oil never missed a beat, no matter how deep the washes or silt got, the 2332cc had the torque to get the job done and giving them the third place podium position. Steve said “the car rode so smooth, I could do one more lap”, obviously he owes that to the ICON Vehicle Dynamics ZETA shocks.
