ICON Vehicle Dynamics is proud to announce 3.0 Series high performance coilovers and shocks with cutting edge CDEV Technology for the 3rd Gen Ford F150 Raptor. Massive 3.0 shocks and coilovers with remote reservoirs provide the increased fluid volume and heat dissipation to run at peak performance over the long haul. ICON's exclusive CDEV Technology puts suspension performance in the palm of your hand with electronically controlled damping that adjusts on-the-fly to instantly optimize for changing speeds and trail conditions. In addition to the high-performance components, we have preconfigured a complete suspension system to coax maximum performance out of the 3rd Gen Raptor!
NEW: 3.0 CDEV COILOVERS & SHOCKS
ICON's exclusive Compression Damping Electronic Valves are included for actively dialing in your suspension performance and improve upon the functionality provided by the factory active shock system. Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) is an electronically controlled valve that meters the flow of oil to regulate the amount of damping force that is created by the shock when compressed. This infinitely variable valve can react in less than 40ms and has the ability to make extremely precise adjustments for varying terrain.
CDEV’s hydraulic circuits are also custom tailored per application to create the highest resolution and dynamic range allowable for each specific vehicle. Powered by ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) and proprietary ICON mobile app, the system uses information from the onboard G-force sensor and Gyroscope to perform calculations based on algorithms and user-defined settings to predict terrain and adjust shock settings via the CDEV accordingly.
With the shock absorbers no longer directly wired to the Raptor's ECU, the IIC/CDEV system also allows drivers to dial in their preferred shock damping settings independently from the selected vehicle drive mode and with more refined resolution than afforded by the factory system. This allows for a more customized vehicle set up with the perfect blend of comfort and performance.
FRONT 3.0 CDEV COILOVERS

The front-end geometry of the Gen 3 F-150 Raptor was found to be fairly similar to the previous model truck, however there are a few key differences that required a redesign of the coilover to be compatible with the newer generation chassis. Seeing this as an opportunity, the team was able to design a 3.0 Series coilover that has more shaft travel while utilizing a barreled coil spring for more efficient packaging and provide 1-3” of front lift height adjustment. The vehicle-specific valving featured in these shocks and the ICON-engineered coil spring work together to provide exceptional on-road ride quality with excellent off-road characteristics. ICON’s multi-stage hydraulic “Bump Zone” adds to the performance capability by providing an exponential increase in damping ability during the last 40% of compression travel for superior bottom-out resistance. In the ride zone, these 3.0 Series coilovers see a significant increase in damping ability with the use of a larger piston than what is found in the factory shocks. 10” finned aluminum reservoirs provide a generous amount of shock oil while also providing an increase in surface area compared to standard reservoir cylinders for enhanced cooling and consistent damping under aggressive off-road use.

The ICON RXT 3.0 Rear Bypass shock with 3.0 Dual Hose Remote Reservoir is truly the next level in Ford Raptor Performance for the rear of your truck. Their vehicle specific shock lengths are designed to be paired with ICON rear coil springs to allow for significantly more down-travel over stock, leaving you with 17 inches of usable rear wheel travel overall. The desire for increased travel was answered with a unique side-mount eyelet approach that allowed ICON engineers to develop a shock shorter in collapsed length, longer at extension, but still fits in the factory mounting location. A dual-hose system with CDEV-driven high- and low-speed flow control gives the shock the ability to adapt its flow rate in real time for both low-speed comfort and high-speed performance. The 12.5” long, 3.0” diameter finned reservoir’s increased surface area further aids heat dissipation while also ensuring ample nitrogen volume. The result of this is the ability of the Raptor to be driven harder for longer periods of time without the worry of shock fade and degraded performance.
