Toyota Dream Build Challenge – Oakley Ultimate Ski Runner
The 2013 Toyota Dream Build Challenge features four teams, comprised of Team Toyota athletes and world-class brand partners, face off to create their most extreme dream Toyota. Can the teams build their dream vehicles within the seven week deadline? Or will the tests of time, logistics, and engineering become their worst nightmare?
Your votes will determine the winner of the Toyota Dream Build Challenge Cup. The victor will be revealed at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas on November 5th, and you’ll be able to watch it all live!
ICON Vehicle Dynamics was afforded the opportunity to team up with Oakley, Herbst Smith Fabrication, and KC HiLiTES to build the ultimate Toyota 4Runner for Pro Skier Simon Dumont. This vehicle along with the other 3 competing will be located in the Toyota Motor Corporation booth at the 2013 SEMA show.
This Toyota 4Runner is equipped with items like:
- iPad media stations in the front and rear seats controlling roof ski rack, doors, windows, and mechanized steps
Electronically actuated custom roof ski rack
- Rear workstation (in the trunk) with boot dryer, glove dryer, gear hangers, helmet and goggle mounts, swing-out Keurig Coffee Maker and full barbecue grill
Ultra Motorsports Xtreme Race Wheels with 35″ BFG Mud Terrain Tires
High performance ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 4 suspension and 2″ lift kit with billet trailing arms
Customized Oakley/Simon Dumont Signature Series seat upholstery, door panels, headliner and rear bulkhead
One-of-a-kind front bumper – with KC Hilites LED cubes for optimal visibility in harsh conditions
Badass sound system featuring Kicker amplifiers and subwoofers, along with JBL speakers
