ICON IIC and CDEV suspension system installed on Toyota Tacoma

THE FUTURE OF SUSPENSION TECHNOLOGY

ICON Vehicle Dynamics is proud to release their IIC Install Kit for 05-15 Tacoma!

ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) is the computer that monitors, analyzes, and processes data in real time. Information from the onboard G-force sensor and gyroscope performs calculations based on algorithms and user-defined settings to predict terrain and wheel position. IIC collects information over 1000 times per second, processes the data, makes adjustments, and sends changes to the Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) in the shock absorbers in under 40 milliseconds.

IIC also works as a data driver to connect the user to ICON’s proprietary mobile app interface for monitoring and adjusting shock settings. The IIC mounts to the 2005–2015 Toyota Tacoma using application-specific mounting brackets, hardware, and wire harnesses for a clean and easy installation.

The IIC App brings all of this technology together with a user-friendly interface to monitor, record, and adjust system performance via Bluetooth. Users can adjust baseline firmness settings and sensitivity of vertical “G-Boost” and lateral “Corner Boost” quickly from their iOS device.

The app includes preconfigured Drive Modes (Normal, Desert, and Haul) and allows users to create unlimited unique presets with custom settings. Users can also record trip data including time, speed, distance, and G-forces for a complete ICONIC overview.

58735E – ICON 2005-UP Tacoma Extended Travel 2.5 VS RR CDEV Coilover Kit

The ICON Vehicle Dynamics V.S. Series 2.5” remote reservoir coilovers with CDCV provide a sport-tuned ride on and off-road with 0–2.75” of lift height adjustability. The 2.5” shock body delivers improved damping capability and enhanced ride quality.

Remote reservoirs increase performance consistency by maintaining cooler operating temperatures during heavy use. The ICON CDE Valve upgrade enables electronic in-cab ride tuning.

57826EP – ICON 2005-UP RXT Rear 2.5 VS RR CDEV Pair

ICON V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks with CDEV are tuned specifically per application for optimal off-road performance and on-road comfort. These shocks are fully rebuildable and revalveable.

For piggyback and select remote reservoir shocks, ICON’s 6061 billet aluminum manifold creates an internal bump zone adding 20% more damping force to help control bottom outs and high-velocity compression.

The RXT rear shock’s side-mount eyelet gives it a shorter collapsed length, longer extension length, and compatibility with factory mounting points, delivering additional wheel travel when paired with ICON Multi-Rate Leaf Springs.

What does all of this mean?

The IIC and CDEV system automatically adjusts shock settings for any terrain or driving style without driver input. At high speed, damping increases to absorb large impacts. When driving slows, damping decreases for a smoother, more compliant ride.

Whether off-road, on-road, or anywhere in between, IIC and CDEV optimize your suspension performance.
